Survey map index information

This list is a Microsoft Access database. The columns are: Map number, Township, Range, Section, ¼ section, Government Lot, Date, Surveyor and Description.

Feel free to use this list as a reference for maps available. This web listing is update around the first of each month to add new maps, to correct filing errors and to remove duplicate references to the same information.

If you see something on the list you would like copies of, just call the County Surveyor at 715-627-6311. Tell us which map you want copies of. We’ll make copies and send them with in invoice. You may also email requests to dtlusty@co.langlade.wi.us but please be sure to provide mailing information.

As a general guide for what the information is going to cost, copy costs are as follows:

Maps in the 1XXXX series are $0.25 each
Maps in the 2XXXX series are $0.50 each
Maps in the 3XXXX series are $2.00 each
Maps in the 4XXXX series are $3.00 each]

Certified Survey Maps

 

The County Surveyor maintains a file of Certified Survey Maps submitted as County Survey records. This file in not complete. The official index (tract index) and the original Certified Survey Maps are in the Register of Deeds office in the Langlade County Courthouse.

Highway right-of-way maps in Langlade County

These maps may not be the current map for the areas shown. Use them as a general guide only. There might be an existing map available, but not listed here. The most recent and accurate maps can be obtained from the WiDOT office in Rhinelander, WI If you are dividing any lands that abut any State highway, you must also contact the WiDOT office in Rhinelander, WI regarding requirements of Trans 233.
